Hello Everyone!

It’s been about a month and a half since my injury and I am happy to report that I am feeling much better and am back at the gym doing what I love. Speaking of the gym, I have some news that may come as a surprise to many.

I had been a Skyline gymnast since I was two years old and I have had an incredible journey at Skyline over the years, however for the past couple of years I have felt God leading me in a new direction. After my recent injury, I decided that now was the time to move to a new gym in order to be able to pursue excellence at a higher level in gymnastics. About three weeks ago, I found my new gym home ~ Prestige Gymnastics in Lancaster, PA. This was not an easy decision, but it was one I felt I needed to make for the best interest of my future. These past three weeks have confirmed that I made a great decision. I have already been learning amazing new skills, met many awesome new friends and teammates, and have built up trust with my new coaches who I respect and love working with. My new training schedule is a blessing as well. I now get to practice during the day throughout the week and be home by dinner each night with my family. I can’t even explain what this change has done for me.

One thing I want to make perfectly clear though is that I will always give my coaches from Skyline full credit for helping me become the gymnast I am today. I love each one of them and will dearly miss them. I made the decision that I made because I feel sometimes change is necessary in order to make the greatest impact in life. This journey that I am on is about so much more than just gymnastics. It’s about continually shining His light and where He leads me I always want to be willing to follow.

This is a new chapter in my story and I am so excited about this new phase in my life.

Thanks for all of your support and prayers. Please stay tuned for future and hopefully exciting updates!

Love and Hugs,
Abs
