It’s hard for me to imagine, but it is already February and I have completed almost half of my level 9 gymnastics season. The end of January was one of my biggest competitions to date. There were many top notch teams from around the US at the Parkette Invitational in Allentown, PA. Overall, I would say I had a really good meet. However, looking back, I see that I still have room for improvement in all four events, which is somewhat exciting to me, because I love a challenge and I know that if I pay attention to those particular details, I could have the meet of my life! My goal is to reach that 38 this season, and I am going to practice and work my tail off to get it. Another goal of mine at my next meet, which is in Orlando, FL at the ESPN Center for the Presidential Classic, is to have my bar routine and overshoot to handstand perfected. I realize I have some pretty big goals for this season, but I know I am up for the task! My State meet is at the end of March, so I am going to use my next two meets to really see what I can do! I am so excited to see how my hard work pays off for me and I will keep you posted!
I would like to end with one of my favorite bible verses. It is Jeremiah 29:11, which says, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
I don’t know about you, but I certainly love knowing that!
Thank you for your continued support! I love my family and friends fan club!
Love and Hugs,
